Meet Our Ministry Team
Mrs. Janice Jones
Minister of Music
Mrs. Janice Jones is a long-time member of and the Minister of Music for Chesterfield Baptist Church. She is an expert organist and pianist with a deeply-held love for sacred music and for making a joyful noise before the LORD in worship! She is also our Choir Director and accompanist. Her adult children also participate in the music program through her direction and leadership. Her husband, Bucky, is also a long-time member of the church and a great source of support for the music program at CBC!
Rev. Bruce J. Wood
Pastor
Rev. Bruce J. Wood was called as Pastor by the Chesterfield Baptist Church in 2021. He is a graduate of Rutgers University - Camden with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Religious Studies, and he earned his M.Div. at Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University in St. David's, PA. He was ordained in 2012 by the Central Baptist Church of Atlantic Highlands, NJ. He also currently serves as the Chaplain for the Hightstown, NJ Fire Department. Pastor Bruce has a heart for discipleship and a passion for helping others to reach their spiritual potential. He and his wife, Lindsey Stefan, have been married for 15 years and have three children, David, Rebecca (who you will often find dancing through the halls at the church!), and Mia (the newest addition!).
